Nathan L. Lott - Pastor and Theologian
Thank you for visiting today. I have written this short bio so you can learn more about me and my background. I hope you will be encouraged by what you read, and in the published blogs, you will find information that brings you closer to our Lord Jesus.
I was born in August of 1976 in Zachary, Louisiana. My dad was hard-working, often working multiple jobs to provide for our family. My mom was a stay-at-home mom. I have one older sister who was always more like a mom than a sister. My dad set the tone for our lives. His work ethic and love for his family became the standard for how I wanted to live.

Our family was only Christian by name. We did not attend church, pray, or read the Bible. We would occasionally attend church for Easter or Christmas services. I remember even now thinking how silly that was. My sister and I attended Vacation Bible School at two local churches. However, the only thing I remember from that was the food.

At age 21, I experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that set me on a new path. I met a few people who were Christians. They were not just Christians by title but devoted to Jesus. I was intrigued. I started going to the library to read about religion and trying to figure out what they believed and why. After a time of study, I started looking into the resurrection of Jesus. The overwhelming evidence led me to bow before Him and surrender my life.

Even after our Lord saved me, I kept reading everything I could find. I wanted to know everything about Jesus and the ministry. I started teaching others what I was learning and started receiving invites from local churches to teach. One year later, I entered full-time vocational ministry, driven by a passion to share the Gospel's transformative power.

Academic pursuits and practical experience have enriched my ministry journey. I hold a Bachelor's in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary and a Master's in Theology from Liberty University. I am deepening my studies as I work towards a Doctor of Ministry degree in biblical studies from Liberty University.
Over the past two decades, I’ve served in various pastoral roles, including worship pastor, student ministry pastor, young adult pastor, and senior pastor. In each role, my commitment has been to faithfully preach and teach the inerrant Word of God, helping others grow in their relationship with Christ.

Beyond my ministry work, I’m passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a discipline I’ve pursued for many years. I am a second-degree black belt and the owner of two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu gyms. This art has taught me valuable lessons in discipline, perseverance, and humility—qualities I strive to bring into my spiritual walk and pastoral leadership.
I am blessed to share my life with my wife, Dawn Lott, and our three wonderful children: Alyssa, Alayna, and Brayden. Together, we seek to live out our faith with authenticity and dedication.
